Logo is an important part of branding but so is its packaging. And in today’s world, the way a product’s packaging looks matters just as much as the product itself. Because no matter how good your product is, poor packaging design is going to drag sales down.
Here are a few points that prove packaging is as important as logo design.

An eye catching design will help you gain more consumers. Humans are creative in nature hence; anything attractive catches their attention quickly. The packaging should be pleasing to eyes. When your products arrive to the customers, even before the products, its packaging is what they see first. This can also increase a frequency in buying resulting in an increase in sales. So make sure it looks pretty, and classy.

Hold up the Brand identity

Brand identity is something a brand is recognized for. From the logo to the delivery everything should support the brand identity. Packaging should speak for the brand. It can build trust or at least show that the brand is trustworthy. For example if the brand is for kids the packaging should look fun, colorful and creative. Something will catch the eye of not only kids but parents as well.

Packaging should answer almost all the questions the consumers will have. Let them know everything even before they see your products. It should contain information like what the product is, about the company and its manufacturing, why do they need the product, what value would the product add to them, and most importantly who the product is for. All these will give the buyer a clearer vision and expectation to the buyer.
